26-year-old Tea Party member challenges Boehner in primary

David Lewis, a 2009 UC grad who’s worked at a local bank for the past six years, is taking on the arduous task of challenging Speaker John Boehner in the 8th Congressional District the Republican primary.

“What made me want to run against Speaker Bohener, was that I found out that his words were empty rhetoric” Lewis said.

“I want to let the voters have an alternate choice, because it was completely in Speaker Boehner’s power to de-fund obamacare and planned parenthood,” Lewis said.
